 Planning
and Balancing of Single or Multi-phased Production In
a Spinning Mill
With Visual-Spin the possibility is available to plan/schedule
just the spinning department work center (single-phase
configuration), or this control can be extended to also
balance and optimize the processes before and after spinning
(multi-phase configuration).
VISUAL-SPIN, through a truly interactive GUI (Gantt
chart for each single Spinning work-center), can be
parameterized at the level of production unit/lines
(families of products that are homogeneous and can be
autonomously defined by the user.)
VISUAL-SPIN is natively integrated with Porini G-TeX
ERP or can be utilized in a stand-alone environment.
VISUAL-SPIN plans and schedules while
taking into consideration the following factors:

The operative calendar
of each single production resource with all the
variables such as shifts, extra-hours, stops for
holidays, repairs etc. |

The levels of use for each resource
such as entire machine, single side and number of
heads/spindles. |

The links among bills of material
given by the codes of the intermediate products
(wick, sliver, etc), also considering all kinds
of waste. The system also manages bills of materials
for blended fibres or melange. |

The quantities for each blend that
is required for producing the needed quantity of
yarns, always allowing intervention when the average
count goes out of tolerance range. |

The availability control of material
handling mediums such as cans, bobbins, using indicators
of minimum and maximum stock levels defined for
each cost centre. |
